From the Bookie web site (http://www.wsubookie.net):
- Under “Shopping Online” click “DDP/ICN Textbooks”
Or from the Bookie Barnes & Noble site (http://www.wsubookie1.bkstore.com)
- Click on “Textbooks” at the top option bar of the main page.
- Click on “Textbooks for Distance Degree Students.”
- Step 1 - click on the term noted, such as “DDP-FALL 2006” (this will change from semester to semester).
- Step 2 - select the first of your classes by department and click on it
- Step 3 - select the correct course number and click on it
- Step 4 - select the correct section (flex or semester) and click on "GO"
This will automatically pull up all listed books for your class. On this screen you need to select which books you want and the quantities that you want...please check the box for used copies and they will be pulled used for you IF THEY ARE IN STOCK.
When you have finished selecting the titles you would like us to fill for you, please double check your quantities (did you cancel out any that you did not want?), then click on "add all to cart".
The next screen you get is a summary screen and you can edit, add or proceed to checkout from this page.
If you click on "checkout" you will get a small screen that requires a little more information from you...please take the time to register as a customer as this will allow you to review your order on-line in the future!
Once you have registered, proceed to checkout. You will be required to fill in several fields. All fields with an * must be filled out for the order to be properly submitted. Please review your information carefully.
You will be prompted for shipping information. If it is the same as your billing information, simply click on the box, otherwise please fill in all appropriate boxes as you are having your books shipped to an address that is different from the billing address. Please note that UPS cannot ship to a PO Box, so we require a street address if at all possible.
**Once you have filled out the shipping information, please take the time to click on the "update cart" button at the bottom of the screen. This deletes any 0 quantities titles from the order that gets submitted to the Bookie!
You may now click on "submit order"
The last page you see is a re-cap of your order. Please print a copy of this for your records as it has your online order number, which you will need to reference in the event that you have questions in regards to your order.
*Please note that your online order pricing automatically defaults to the "new prices". Your actual charges will be on the invoice that you receive with your books.*
That's it! Once you have submitted your order, it automatically generates an email to you let you know that it was delivered to the Bookie order web site. You will also receive updates about your order whenever information from your order is "handled" (i.e. shipped or noted as back ordered, etc.)
Notice: If you need to call in your order, please know that we will be building it online with you. We will no longer simply record your information as an order. All orders must be built online so that you can get an order number.
