Print course guides may include information that no longer applies, particularly about communication via ListServs, procedure directions for take home exams or study questions, and references to the "General Information and Procedures" pages. Please review the following information and disregard outdated directions related to these items in the course guide.
ListServ Replacements
WebCT course discussion/announcement spaces have replaced all course ListServs. Assignments or interactions originally posted to a ListServ now are posted in the discussion/announcement area of your courses WebCT space.
Take Home Exams/Study Questions
Take home exams and study questions for semester based courses previously mailed to students at a specified time in the semester, or upon request, have been moved to WebCT course spaces. You can access and retrieve the exams and study questions from the WebCT space during a specified time.
**All WebCT course spaces are identified by the course name; however, courses delivered in WebCT include all course content in addition to the discussion/announcement section within the course delivery space, while courses NOT delivered in WebCT (i.e., those using print course guides) have only discussion/announcement spaces in WebCT.
You are added automatically to all appropriate WebCT course spaces. To access the spaces, you must log in to WebCT (through http://www.my.wsu.edu; choose "Academics") with your WSU Network ID (NID) and Password.
If you do not have a Network ID, please review the "Network ID and Login" information on the DDP help website(http://www.distance.wsu.edu/help.asp#nid). Help with WebCT also is available online at http://support.ctlt.wsu.edu/helprequest.asp
General Information and Procedures
The "General Information and Procedures" information for semester based and flexible enrollment courses is no longer distributed with orders from the Students Book Corporation (The Bookie), but is available online at http://distance.wsu.edu/pubs/genpro
The online information will be kept current to insure you have access to the most up to date information and changes will be marked so that you can recognize updates. Please review the online information at the beginning of each semester and note any updates.
We encourage you to review frequently the DDP "What's New" web page and the Smart FAQ for updated information and highlights.
